It is cryptodepression length 13.6 km, width 1.4 km to 3.5 km and 30.2 km 2 surface , and the maximum water depth is about 4m . The lake stretches parallel to the coast , northwest -east and is partitioned from the sea 800 - 2500m wide limestone wall with the highest ridge 113m above sea level .
